QMF Principles

QUALITY MANAGED FACILITIES (QMF) AWARD

The successful results of assessment verify the evidence of each QMF Principle. Following the assessor’s visit, self-assessment, review of company documents and the walkthrough evaluation, four categories of QMF Award applies to the Facility: Excellent, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The Award is given to a specific facility, as recognition of collaborative effort not to any individual organisation. In this respect it is unique. One of the challenges Martin Brown will address is the collaborative application of the QMF assessment approach across the design, construction and facilities management sectors for any facility, ensuring effective assessment of a quality managed facility, through design, in production and in use.

To achieve the Award, the Facility assures that the comprehensive facilities management strategies, processes, and performance results are delivered to customers, clients, and other stakeholders in align with the excellence model. QMF assesses the stakeholders’ collaborative effort in providing quality managed facilities. These stakeholders might include: landlords, service providers, service recipients and facilities operatives.
